Vipingo Ridge, Kilifi Kenya

Vipingo Ridge is a resort on Kenya's coast, set on a ridge above Kilifi. The centerpiece is an 18-hole PGA golf course designed by David Jones, with baobab trees and connected lakes. The course includes a driving range and practice areas. Wildlife such as oryx, zebra, and giraffe roam the grounds, part of a sanctuary established with Kenya Wildlife Services.

The resort offers villas with plunge pools, some with rooftop terraces. You can walk or cycle through the estate, spotting wildlife along the trails. The Beach Club sits on white sand by the Indian Ocean, with snorkeling and kayaking available in the marine protected area.

Golfers can hire caddies trained through a local youth program. The PGA Academy provides lessons for beginners and advanced players. The Clubhouse overlooks the 9th and 18th holes, with a restaurant and bar.

The resort is a short drive from Mombasa-Malindi Highway, making it accessible for visitors traveling along the coast.
