Strand Pavilion
A beachfront self-catering resort on False Bay with mountain and sea views
Strand Pavilion sits on the beach at False Bay, with some apartments built over the water. You choose between views of Gordon’s Bay mountain or the Cape Town sea front, with floor-to-ceiling windows in each unit. Selected apartments have private balconies with gas braai facilities; others share a communal charcoal braai area.
The one, two, and three-bedroom units are fully self-catering, with kitchens that include a fridge, microwave, and stove. Beds range from queen and king sizes to twins, with sleeper couches for children under twelve. Each unit has a smart TV with selected DSTV channels, and the three-bedroom apartments add a second TV in the main bedroom.
The resort provides bedding, towels, and beach towels at reception. Facilities include a pool deck, mini gym, and games room. The building extends twenty-five meters over the waves, making it the only beach-built resort of its kind in South Africa.
