Nina's Real Food
Nina's Real Food is a family-run restaurant in Jeffreys Bay, opened by the Smith family in 2010. The menu spans breakfast to dinner, with options like chia pots, ostrich steak and eggs, poké bowls, pulled pork nachos, and Portuguese calamari. The place is named after the owners' first daughter, and their three surfer daughters help run the business when not competing.
The kitchen accommodates various diets, offering gluten-free, vegetarian, and sugar-free options alongside hearty comfort food. The restaurant is in the Wavecrest Centre on Da Gama Road, a short distance from the surf. It serves both sit-down meals and takeaways.
The Smith family moved here from East London, where they ran a successful take-away since 1989. They chose Jeffreys Bay for its surf culture and community. The restaurant closes only on the 25th of December and the 1st of January.
