Pinecreek is a Cape Dutch-style farmstall and restaurant set in the hills of Beacon Bay, near East London. You eat country-style meals — farm breakfasts, wood-fired pizzas, chicken schnitzel — in a building with indoor and outdoor seating. The kitchen uses local ingredients where possible, and the menu ranges from hearty breakfasts to grilled meats and pastas.

Next to the restaurant, the farmstall sells local produce: homemade jams, baked goods, handcrafted soaps, and jewellery. Children can ride the diesel train that circles the property, which carries twenty-four passengers at a time. The grounds include a playground and shaded seating for parents.

The building has been recently renovated but keeps its Cape Dutch character. You order by scanning a QR code at your table, which sends your choices straight to the kitchen. Pinecreek is a stop on the Jikeleza Route, a tourism circuit in East London.
