Trails are open for day hikes only, with registration at Hadeda Camp before one in the afternoon. The camp has a food stall on weekends but no water points along the routes — you carry what you need.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eDolomite cliffs rise above the river, and the caves in them hold traces of early settlements. The landscape is thornveld: acacia, wild olive, and clusters of dassies on the rocks. Trails are rocky underfoot, with no strollers allowed and no dogs.
