Irene Farm is a working dairy farm in Centurion, between Pretoria and Johannesburg. You can eat at The Barn, a restaurant under old oak trees, or browse the deli for raw milk and dairy products from the farm. The farm has been producing milk for over a hundred years, with strict hygiene standards.

The Barn serves farm-style meals, and the Deck Cafe overlooks the lawns. The deli sells milk, eggs, and other farm products. The farm hosts night markets with food and live music, though helium balloons are banned to protect the cows.

Walking trails wind through the property, past pastures and historic buildings. The farm also has archery and conference facilities. For now, due to foot-and-mouth disease precautions, you cannot interact with the cows or calves.

The farm is a short drive from both Pretoria and Johannesburg, making it a day trip for city visitors.
