Weesgerus Holiday Resort

You stay at Weesgerus Holiday Resort in Modimolle for its family-friendly facilities and easy access to outdoor activities. The resort has five swimming pools — three outdoor pools (including one for small children) and two heated indoor pools. A three-kilometre hiking trail loops around the dam, and you can fish in the dam itself — bring your own rods.

The resort has a mix of accommodation options, including chalets, guesthouses, and a caravan park. Chalets sleep between two and six people, with kitchens and bathrooms included. The caravan park has electricity, braai areas, and ablution facilities.

The Dam Lapa, located on the opposite side of the dam, is available for private functions like weddings and team-building events. It can host groups of up to eighty people. When the Dam Lapa is booked for private functions, light lunches are served in the main restaurant.

The resort also has a shop selling essentials, fresh bread, soft drinks, and ice cream. Children can play on the Supertube while adults relax by the pools or fish by the dam.
