Weesgerus Vakansieoord

Weesgerus Vakansieoord is a family resort in Modimolle, set up for fishing, swimming and hiking. You stay in chalets, guesthouses or caravan sites, with options for two to six people per unit. The chalets have kitchens and private bathrooms; the guesthouses add garages and lounges with TVs.

The resort has five swimming pools: three outdoors (including one for small children) and two heated indoors. A dam on the property is stocked for fishing, and a three-kilometre trail loops through the grounds for hikers. The dam has a lapa for functions, seating up to eighty people for weddings or team events.

A shop sells basics like bread, soft drinks and ice cream, along with souvenirs. The restaurant does takeaways only. Children can use the supertube slide while adults relax by the pools.

The resort is on Nelson Mandela Drive, a short drive from Modimolle town centre.
