Point Village Hotel

Point Village Hotel sits above the beach at Mossel Bay’s Point, where the Indian Ocean meets the Garden Route. You stay in rooms or self-catering apartments, some with kitchenettes and balconies facing the water. The St. Blaize Lighthouse and tidal pools are a short walk along the cliffs.

The hotel has standard rooms and larger family apartments, all with flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. Self-catering units have kitchenettes for preparing meals, and two braai areas with sea views are reserved for their guests. Daily housekeeping covers standard rooms; self-catering units get fresh towels and bedding every third day.

Mossel Bay’s beaches draw swimmers and surfers, and in season you may see whales or dolphins from shore. The town center is close enough for cafes and seafood restaurants but far enough to keep the nights quiet. What defines the place is the cliff path outside: it runs past the hotel to the lighthouse, following the curve of the bay.
