ATKV Buffelspoort

ATKV Buffelspoort is a family resort in Rustenburg, set in the foothills of the Magaliesberg. You stay in self-catering houses, rondavels, or on camping sites with power outlets and braai facilities. The resort has two swimming pools — one heated, one cold — and a water slide for children. There is a licensed restaurant with a takeaway section, a sports bar, and a shop on the premises.

Activities include minigolf, tennis, and volleyball. The accommodation ranges from two-sleeper houses to eight-sleeper villas, all with basic kitchen facilities. Some units have air-conditioning or ceiling fans. The camping sites are shaded by trees or covered with shade nets.

The resort is less than an hour from Pretoria and Johannesburg, making it a practical stop for families. Quiet hours are enforced from ten at night to seven in the morning.
