Rivierzicht River Resort

You stay at Rivierzicht River Resort along the Breede River, thirteen kilometers before Robertson in the valley between vineyards and orchards. The resort offers three ways to sleep by the water: six self-catering cabins against the riverbank, nine bush camp tents on the riverbed, or thirty grass-covered campsites for caravans and tents.

The cabins have kitchenettes, open-plan living areas, and outdoor spaces facing the water. Bush camps come with beds, bedding, and private braai areas — the tents are already set up, so you don’t need to bring your own. Campers get large sites, averaging twelve by twenty-five meters, with power and water taps.

All options put you close enough to fish, swim, or launch a canoe directly from your site. The riverbank is the main gathering place, where braais light up in the evenings. Robertson’s wineries and farm stalls are a short drive away when you want to stock up or explore.

The Breede River runs through the property, and the resort is built to face it — cabins overlook the water, bush camps sit on its banks, and campsites stretch along its edge.
