Kunjani Villas & Wines

You stay in one of eight private villas set among vineyards in Bottelary Hills, a quieter pocket of the Stellenbosch wine country. The villas are not part of a working winery — the focus here is on space, breakfast, and a base for exploring the region. Each villa has its own character, with verandas facing the vines and gardens that let you eat outside. Seven of the eight have self-catering kitchens; the eighth, the Presidential Villa, has a jacuzzi.

Breakfast is included across all villas — full English, served with local flavours. The kitchens in seven villas mean you can cook at your own pace, or book a private chef. Pool, braai facilities, and outdoor decks are shared across the property. The villas are designed for privacy: families can book connecting rooms without breaking the line of the buildings.

Bottelary Hills is north of central Stellenbosch, near Devonvale Golf Estate. The area is quieter than the town centre, with open views and a forty percent shorter drive to some wine routes. The villas are a practical base for couples, families, or small groups who plan to explore by day and return to a private space in the evening.
