Each lasts about an hour and covers snakes from the Western Cape to Limpopo, with monitors, tortoises, and Nile crocodiles also on the grounds. After the tour, you can walk the forest trails or picnic on the lawns. The curio shop sells snacks and drinks.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eLawnwood started in 2003 as a small collection of snakes in a dome and has grown to eight full-time staff. The sanctuary closes only on Christmas Day.
