Kaazi Beach Resort Busabala

Kaazi Beach Resort sits on the shore of Lake Victoria, thirty minutes from Entebbe Airport. The eighteen rooms all face the water, with private balconies looking out over the lake. Each has a television and minibar; families can book triple rooms.

Two restaurants serve European dishes with an emphasis on vegetables and salads. The ground-floor space has a bar and a partly covered terrace, while the upper floor holds an indoor dining room and another terrace. Both levels draw birdwatchers — the bay attracts waterbirds, and the terraces give clear views.

The resort has a forty-meter pool, a gym, and a wellness center. Children play on a zip line, in a sand pit, or at the small farm. Boat trips on the lake can be arranged. The resort also runs workshops on nutrition, focused on preventing childhood stunting through better diets.
