Kabira Country Club

You stay at Kabira Country Club for the sports facilities and the poolside dining. The hotel has a half-Olympic swimming pool, clay tennis courts, glass-backed squash courts, and a gym with spin bikes and treadmills. Resident guests use these at no extra charge.

The Pub restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner by the pool, with buffet and à la carte options. On Fridays, there is a Mongolian grill night where meats are cooked to order. The restaurant looks out over the courtyard and the pool, and the bar serves drinks through the evening.

Rooms range from deluxe studios to three-bedroom penthouses, all with air conditioning, tea and coffee stations, and balconies. Some face the hills of Kololo and Naguru; others look over the pool. The one-bedroom suites have kitchens with microwaves and refrigerators, making them practical for longer stays.

The hotel is on Old Kira Road, a short drive from central Kampala. It has parking, and airport transfers can be arranged.
