Nyumbani Hotel Kampala

Nyumbani Hotel sits in Makerere, a Kampala suburb close to Makerere University and a short drive from the city centre. The hotel holds fifty-five rooms — eight single deluxe, forty-one double deluxe, and six executive — each with a tiled bathroom, flat-screen TV, and Wi-Fi. Some rooms overlook the garden.

The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a bar lounge open midday to midnight. The spa offers massages, facials, and body treatments, with a sauna, steam room, and gym available to guests. Four conference rooms host meetings and events, seating up to three hundred people.

The hotel is a short drive from Kampala’s landmarks, including the Kasubi tombs and Uganda National Museum. Airport transfers are available from Entebbe International Airport, forty kilometres away.

Nyumbani Hotel opened in Makerere to serve guests visiting the university and the city. The spa and conference facilities were added later, making it a base for both leisure and business stays.
