Constance Belle Mare Plage Mauritius
A beachfront resort on Mauritius' east coast with two golf courses
You stay at Constance Belle Mare Plage on the east coast of Mauritius, where two kilometres of white sand beach run between the resort and the lagoon. The thatched-roof buildings hold rooms, suites, and villas — some with private pools, some facing the garden, some directly on the beach. The largest, the Presidential Villa, has five bedrooms, two heated pools, and a kitchen.
The resort has two 18-hole golf courses: the Links and the Legend. Deer Hunter restaurant sits in the Legend clubhouse with views over the greens; Le Swing does the same for the Links. There are seven restaurants in total, including a sushi counter by the sea and a wine cellar with thirty-five thousand bottles.
The spa offers massages, facials, and body treatments using Sisley products, with a hydrothermal area and a fitness centre. Yoga and Pilates sessions run on the grounds. Families use the kids' club; couples book the honeymoon package, which includes a bottle of sparkling wine on arrival.
The beach is the reason the resort is here at all. You swim in the lagoon, walk the sand, and watch the casuarina trees bend in the wind.
