Pongola Country Lodge

Pongola Country Lodge sits just off the N2 highway near Pongola, with sixty-seven rooms spread across several categories — from standard doubles to family rooms with sleeper couches. Each room has air conditioning, an en-suite bathroom, and satellite TV. Some rooms have kitchenettes for self-catering.

The lodge has a swimming pool, a gym, and two restaurants: one serving breakfast and another with an à la carte dinner menu. The grounds include a garden used for weddings and events.

Pongola is a stopover for travelers heading to nearby game reserves, Jozini Dam, or Sodwana Bay. The lodge does not arrange activities directly, but staff can advise on local operators for game drives, fishing, and boat trips.

Parking is provided for each room, and the lodge is a four-hour drive from Durban or Johannesburg along the N2.
