You stay at Asara Wine Estate & Hotel among the vineyards of Stellenbosch, with the mountains as a backdrop. The estate dates back to 1691, though the current owners took over in 2001 and renamed it Asara. The art gallery showcases work by South African artists, with pieces available for purchase.
