Beyond Restaurant is set on the Buitenverwachting Wine Estate in Constantia, surrounded by rolling vineyards. The kitchen, led by Executive Chef Sebastian Stehr, focuses on seasonal and locally sourced ingredients, many from the estate’s own indigenous garden and nearby coastal foraging. The menu highlights dishes like Karoo lamb neck and Cape fish, paired with wines from the estate’s vineyards.

The dining room features floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of the vineyards, with a fireplace adding warmth to the elegant, relaxed atmosphere. The beverage program includes cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks made with garden-grown herbs and house-made infusions.

Lunch is served Tuesday to Sunday, and dinner is available Tuesday to Saturday. Guests can also enjoy cocktails in the lounge area before or after their meal.

The restaurant is part of the FYN Group, with guidance from chefs Peter Tempelhoff and Ashley Moss, and beverage direction by Jennifer Hugé.
