Tintswalo Atlantic sits on Chapmans Peak Drive, a winding coastal road above Hout Bay. The lodge faces the Atlantic Ocean, with suites built into the slope so that each one has a sea view. You wake to the sound of waves and eat breakfast with the bay spread out below.

The lodge serves sunset canapés and cocktails each evening, and dining is handled by Chefs Warehouse, which offers a contemporary tapas menu built around local and sustainable ingredients. Lunch and dinner are served indoors or on the terrace, with the same view.

The lodge’s location on Chapmans Peak Drive places it within reach of Hout Bay Harbour, Kirstenbosch Gardens, and Table Mountain. The drive to Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront takes forty-two minutes; the airport is fifty minutes away.

Tintswalo Atlantic does not accept children under ten as standard, due to open decks and unfenced pools. Families with younger children may request exceptions.
