Karel T-Lounge serves meals and cocktails at Village Market on Limuru Road. You dine indoors or on the outdoor patio under a tree, with views of the market. The kitchen serves brunch daily from eleven to three, with dishes like crepes and mushroom toast, and hosts happy hour every afternoon.

The bar pours cocktails and wines from around the world, served at the indoor counter or on the patio, where the tree provides shade in the afternoon and lighting sets the table after dark. On Saturdays, live jazz plays from seven in the evening, featuring Nairobi artists like Jacob Asiyo and his quartet.

The restaurant is on the first floor of the market’s new wing, set back from Limuru Road. It is open every day from eleven in the morning to ten at night.
