The Bay Hotel

The Bay Hotel sits on the beachfront in Camps Bay, with the Twelve Apostles mountain range behind it and the Atlantic Ocean in front. You wake to the sound of waves and eat breakfast at Tides, the in-house restaurant with views of the water. The hotel has four pools, including one at the private beach club Sandy B, where you can watch the sunset with a drink.

Rooms face either the mountains or the sea, some with balconies overlooking the main pool. The spa offers treatments using South African skincare brands, and there is a gym for workouts. The hotel also has padel courts, a racket sport that mixes tennis and squash, played both indoors and out.

Bistro at The Bay serves lunch by the pool, with sandwiches and seafood on the menu. Caamil’s Bar is the place for evening drinks, known for its selection of wines and spirits. The beach is a short walk away, and the hotel can arrange tours around Cape Town.

The Bay Hotel is on Victoria Road, opposite the sightseeing bus stop, which makes it easy to explore the city without a car.
