Two Oceans Restaurant
You eat at Two Oceans Restaurant on the cliffs of Cape Point, with the water stretching out below. The kitchen serves seafood — including a platter that draws on the two oceans meeting at the cape — and the dining room has both indoor tables and an outdoor deck, both angled to take in the view. The deck puts you closer to the sound of the waves.
The restaurant sits within the Cape Point section of Table Mountain National Park, so you may see baboons or seabirds outside the windows while you eat. Families are welcome, with a children's menu available. After lunch, you can walk to the nearby Flying Dutchman funicular for a ride up to the lighthouse.
The building is designed to frame the water, with large windows and an open deck that catch the breeze. It is a place to eat slowly, with the view as part of the meal.
