You visit Simonsig for wine tastings and cellar tours at this family-run Stellenbosch estate. The Malan family has operated the winery since 1968, when they released their first wines under the Simonsig label. In 1971 they pioneered South Africa's first bottle-fermented sparkling wine, now known as Cap Classique.

The tasting room offers samples of the estate's wines, with staff available to explain the varieties and production methods. Cellar tours take you through the winemaking process from grape to bottle. The property includes a restaurant serving meals paired with Simonsig wines.
