Hennopspride Lifestyle Resort
A family resort by the Hennops River with pools and chalets near Centurion
Hennopspride is a family resort set along the Hennops River near Centurion, with self-catering chalets and water slides. You stay in one of the chalets — sleeping four to ten people, each with a kitchen, fridge, and microwave — or in canvas-walled units for six. The kitchens have cutlery, crockery, and four-plate ovens; some chalets have private bomas and braai areas.
The resort has nine swimming pools and twenty water slides, with weight restrictions for safety. A five-kilometre hiking trail runs to caves and doubles as a mountain-bike route. There are volleyball courts, jungle gyms, a jumping pillow, and train rides for children. Picnic spots under trees and built-in braai stands are scattered through the grounds; charcoal fires are allowed, but wood fires are not.
Chalets range from four-sleeper units with one bathroom to ten-sleeper duplexes with two bathrooms. The canvas units sleep six and have one bathroom with a shower. The resort closes some pools in winter but keeps the Blue Lagoon pool open year-round.
The Hennops River runs alongside the property, and the hiking trail starts near the chalets.
