Zelpy Fishing and Game Resort (Previously Eastco Magalies)

You stay at Zelpy Fishing and Game Resort for fishing, camping, or a mountain chalet in Magaliesburg. The resort has seven roofed fishing stands, each with its own braai area, water point, and access to ablution blocks. Fishing is catch-and-release, with strict rules to protect the fish: no keep nets, landing mats required, and no swimming or loud music near the dam.

The camping and caravan area has stands shaded by trees or nets, each with power, water, and a braai area. Ablution blocks provide hot water and laundry facilities. For those off-roading, there is a 4x4 camp with no electricity but a sundowner pool overlooking the Magaliesberg.

Three mountain chalets sleep up to five, with double and single beds, a fully equipped kitchen, and a braai area. Each chalet has a bathroom with a shower and bathtub, though towels are not provided. Cleaning services are available at an additional cost.

The resort also has a party venue for up to sixty guests, equipped with a braai, boma, swimming pool, and jungle gym. It can be hired for events like kiddies’ parties, bachelor parties, or baby showers. The venue includes kitchenware, chairs, tables, and extras like jumping castles.

The Magaliesburg setting brings wildlife and birds to the reserve, and the chalets offer views of the surrounding mountains.
