Glen Afric Country Lodge

You stay at Glen Afric Country Lodge on 750 hectares of bushveld near Hartbeespoort, forty minutes from Johannesburg. The lodge opened in 1986 and offers wildlife encounters and game drives across the reserve. The main lodge has a swimming pool, a restaurant, and a bar, with views over the bushveld.

Accommodation includes lodge suites, lodge rooms, and cottages. The lodge suites have king-sized beds, private balconies, and en-suite bathrooms. Cottages are designed for families or small groups, with kitchens and lounges. Stable block rooms provide simpler stays with en-suite bathrooms and tea or coffee facilities.

The lodge runs game drives across the reserve, and you can join wildlife encounters with elephants and other animals. The restaurant serves meals with ingredients sourced locally, and the bar overlooks the bushveld. The pool is set beside the main lodge, with loungers for relaxing after a drive.
