Mount Amanzi
A riverside resort in Hartbeespoort with chalets and a spa
Mount Amanzi sits on the Crocodile River in Hartbeespoort, an hour from Pretoria. You stay in chalets set among the grounds, with the river as a backdrop. Families use the pools, tennis courts, and fishing spots; the spa offers massages and treatments.
The chalets are grouped into three camps, each a short walk from the river. They sleep between five and eight people, with braai areas and patios. The open-plan units have kitchens and lounges; some include loft spaces with extra beds.
The Mbali Spa is on-site, with treatments like massages and facials. The restaurant serves bistro-style meals, and the mini-market stocks snacks and essentials. Activities include mini-golf, trampolines, and lawn games.
The Crocodile River runs through the property. It draws the birds and cools the air, and it is the reason the resort is here at all.
