Wacky Adventures

Wacky Adventures is a family campground in Hopefield where you can rent a tent setup that sleeps five, with mattresses, shade cover, a table and braai drum provided. You bring bedding, food and a braai grid. The campsites have no electricity but offer freezer and charging stations at the kiosk.

The property has three swimming pools — a kids' pool, splash pool and family pool — with a combined capacity of over three hundred thousand litres. Activities include go-karting on a 200-meter dirt track for ages eight and up, plus smaller quad bikes and go-karts for children aged six to eight.

This is strictly a family destination with quiet hours from 10pm to 6am (extended to 1am on New Year's Eve). No parties, pets, generators or music are allowed. The bathrooms are family-style with hot water showers. Minimum stays apply: two nights normally, three during peak holidays, four at Easter.

The reception checks guests in from 2pm to 7pm daily.
