Mabalingwe Game Reserve

Mabalingwe Game Reserve sits in the bushveld near Bela-Bela, where you stay in self-catering lodges with views of the surrounding landscape. The reserve has several accommodation options, from family-sized units to smaller lodges for couples.

Tswene Lodge holds four bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and an outdoor boma area. It overlooks Kubu dam, where you might hear hippos at night. Elephant Lodge is a smaller two-bedroom unit with its own boma, situated near the farm shop and tennis courts.

Both lodges have air conditioning, smart TVs, and braai areas. You can request cleaning services or order firewood and ice from reception. The reserve offers game viewer rentals for self-drive safaris around the property.

The farm shop provides basic supplies, and swimming pools are available at Kubu and Tswene. The main road through the reserve connects the lodges to these facilities.
