Manyeleti Game Reserve

You visit Manyeleti Game Reserve to see wildlife in a private reserve that borders Kruger National Park. The lodges in Manyeleti range from tented camps to more substantial buildings, all set for wildlife viewing. Meals are typically included, served at different locations around the lodge — sometimes in a boma, sometimes by the pool. The kitchens accommodate dietary needs if notified in advance.

Manyeleti is accessible by road, with self-driving guests meeting escorts at the gate for the final stretch to their lodge. The reserve gates open at sunrise and close at sunset for safety, so late arrivals must call ahead.

Game drives focus on the reserve's wildlife, with rangers communicating sightings across the area. The guides explain the plants, insects, and smaller creatures if the larger animals are scarce. The reserve is home to lions, leopards, and elephants, among others.
