The Barn on 62 - Cottages

The Barn on 62 is a self-catering stay with three cottages in Montagu, a town in the Breede River Valley. Two of the cottages, Familiar Chat and Riverine Rabbit, have private swimming pools. Each cottage has a private bathroom, tea- and coffee-making facilities, a microwave, and a bar fridge.

An on-site restaurant serves meals made with locally sourced ingredients, and a café provides breakfast and coffee. Montagu is known for its hot springs and sits along Route 62, about two hours from Cape Town. The area offers wine tasting, hiking, and views of the Langeberg Mountains.

The cottages are set back from the road, with the restaurant and café in the same compound. The town is a base for exploring the Robertson Wine Valley and the Little Karoo.
