You stay at TO Strand on the beachfront in Port Edward, where sixty-two self-catering chalets and one hundred and thirty-nine camping stands are set among subtropical forest. The resort borders the beach, which is patrolled by lifeguards during weekends and holiday seasons and has shark nets for safe swimming.

The chalets are basic but clean, with limited DSTV channels and braai facilities cleaned daily. Families can choose from chalets sleeping four to six people, though guests must bring their own towels and kitchen supplies. The campsite has two ablution blocks serviced daily, and each stand has water and power points.

The resort has a swimming pool, mini-golf, and a restaurant adjoining conference facilities, which can host between eighty and three hundred delegates. The restaurant serves meals for conference-goers, and guests can stock up on basics at the shop. During holiday seasons, there are entertainment programs for families and children.

The beach is the reason the resort is here. It is quiet and clean, with shark nets and lifeguards, and it is the focus of most stays.
