You eat at Delfinos on The Point in Mossel Bay, close enough to the ocean to hear the waves from the table. The menu covers breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with seafood, steaks, and wood-fired pizzas. The pizzas are made with unbleached, stone-ground flour and cooked in a wood-fired oven. Breakfast ranges from bacon and eggs to yoghurt and fruit.

The dining room sits above the water so that the working harbour reads as part of the view. Drinks come from the bar that looks out over the same water. The restaurant is open from seven-thirty in the morning until eleven at night, seven days a week.

The ocean draws the breeze and cools the dining room, and it is the reason the restaurant is here at all.
