Greenhouse Restaurant,
Paarl South Africa

The Greenhouse Restaurant sits under oak trees at the back of the Babylonstoren garden in Paarl. It is a conservatory tearoom where you can take a break after a garden tour, with tables and chairs both inside and outside. The kitchen serves light meals, salads, and bread from a wood-fired oven, dressed with meats and cheeses. Tea and other liquid infusions are also on offer.

The restaurant is open seven days a week, making it a convenient stop for visitors exploring the garden. The setting is simple and functional, with colourful Luxembourg chairs and a clear view of the surrounding trees. The Greenhouse is designed as a refreshment station for guests who have walked through the garden, and it fits into the farm-to-fork ethos of Babylonstoren.

The Greenhouse operates as a tearoom rather than a formal restaurant, offering a casual space to rest and refuel. It is open from nine in the morning to five in the evening during winter, and until seven in the evening during summer.
