You eat and drink on the ninth floor at Hugo Social Club, where the dining room and lounge look out over Lion's Head and the Atlantic Ocean. The restaurant serves breakfast through dinner — eggs and coffee in the morning, small plates and cocktails by evening. The lounge area has low tables and deep chairs for longer stays.

A rooftop pool runs the length of the space, with a minimum spend required to use it. The kitchen sources meat from halal-certified suppliers but also serves pork and alcohol. Families are welcome throughout the day.

Bookings are accepted for indoor tables only; outdoor seating is first-come. The building has backup power, so service continues during electricity cuts. The address is on Kings Road in Sea Point, a short drive from the city center.
