Little Stream is a tea garden and conference centre set on seven acres at the foot of Constantia’s hills, between two wine farms. The cafe serves breakfast, brunch and lunch in an alfresco setting, with a menu of home-style dishes. Tables sit among the gardens, which are planted with mature trees and threaded by paths.

The venue hosts events for up to fifty people, from weddings to corporate meetings. The main conference room seats fifty; two smaller rooms hold twenty-five each. Outdoor spaces can be set up for garden ceremonies or receptions. The property is managed by the Cape Town YMCA, following a bequest from Muriel Jones, who transformed the land in the mid-20th century.

The tea garden operates from Tuesday to Sunday, closing on Mondays. The kitchen serves through the day, with afternoon tea and cake available until closing. The gardens are the draw — shaded by trees, with the Constantia hills rising beyond the hedges.
