You stay at Slanghoek Mountain Resort in the Slanghoek Valley near Rawsonville, where the accommodation ranges from safari tents to log cabins and chalets. The safari tents have beds, basic kitchen facilities and private bathrooms, while the log cabins add fireplaces and valley views. The newest Pearview Cottages include hot tubs facing the mountains.

The resort sits in wine country, with the Slanghoek Valley's slopes visible from many units. Some cabins run on gas and battery power rather than mains electricity. The property can host weddings and events in its hall or lapa, with a small chapel on site.

Fifteen shaded campsites with private bathrooms are being rebuilt after flood damage in 2026. When open, they'll offer family camping with gas-heated water and space for children to play. A convenience store is within walking distance of the resort.
