Tuk Tuk Microbrewery is the only brewery on Franschhoek’s main road, where you drink beer brewed on-site and eat globally inspired street food. The industrial-style space has vaulted ceilings, exposed brick, and copper pipes overhead, with seating arranged around the brewing tanks so you can watch the process. Outside, tables face Huguenot Road, where the passing foot traffic adds to the atmosphere.

The kitchen serves an all-day menu of casual dishes like flame-grilled steak, loaded burgers, and beer-battered fish and chips, alongside seasonal produce from local gardens. The brewery makes five beers, including a seasonal batch, which you can sample in tastings. The bar also stocks local craft beers, South African wines, and classic cocktails.

The brewing team works on-site, so the beer is fresh and unique to this location. The space functions as both a working brewery and a restaurant, with the tanks visible from most tables indoors. The outdoor seating lets you eat and drink while taking in the activity of Franschhoek’s main street.
